Meet our friendly, experienced providers and staff of Gulf Shores Pediatrics, PC! Our entire team is dedicated to helping you and your child feel at home from the moment your walk through our door. We're honored to be members of the Gulf Shores community and serve the needs of its children.

We pride ourselves in being an exceptional clinic where children come first. Our practice works hard to meet the needs of children from infancy through adolescence. Our compassionate, knowledgeable and supportive staff is the cornerstone of Gulf Shores Pediatrics, PC's quality care. Our pediatrician, nurse practitioner and medical staff are highly trained professionals, and maintain the highest level of accreditation in pediatrics to address the special needs of infants, children, and teens.

We strive to treat each and every patient as we would want our own children to be treated. Our providers and staff look forward to building a relationship with you and your family.

  • Amanda Calhoun Gold, MD

    Dr. Gold focuses on providing excellent medical care while partnering with parents to help raise healthy children, both physically and emotionally. She supports establishing a medical home for children so they may benefit from a continuity of care.

    Dr. Gold received her undergraduate degree in neuroscience and behavioral biology with a minor in anthropology from Emory University. She earned a Doctorate of Medicine from St. George's University School of Medicine. After graduating in 2012, Dr. Gold completed her pediatric residency at Louisiana State University, LSU Health in Shreveport, Louisiana.

    Dr. Gold lives in Gulf Shores. Outside of the office, her favorite pastime is spending time on the beach with her husband and daughter.

  • Rebecca Lee Autrey, CRNP

    Lee Autrey moved to Gulf Shores, Alabama in 2006 upon completion of her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University. She worked as a registered nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola before completing her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama with a concentration in Primary Care Pediatrics. 

    Lee has practiced at Gulf Shores Pediatrics for the past 9 years. She has 3 young children who keep her very busy when not working! She loves to cook and spend quality time with her husband and children. She is dedicated to serving the children of her community through her work, her children's school, and her church. 

  • Amanda Bruns, CRNP

    Amanda received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006 from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. She worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Surgery as a Registered Nurse before continuing her education to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She graduated in 2013 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham earning her Masters in Science of Nursing with a board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. Amanda started working at Gulf Shores Pediatrics in October 2014.

    Amanda lives in Fairhope with her two children and husband. She enjoys spending time at the beach and boating as well as playing tennis.
